Medical Appointments
Please ensure that any routine appointments or check-ups are booked for out of school times wherever possible.
We appreciate that it is difficult to book appointments especially if they are required urgently and we know you don't want your child to miss anytime in school. If appointment times are early in the morning please ensure you bring your child in to register first before collecting them to take to the appointment. Children should then return to school as soon as possible afterwards, if they are well enough following any treatment.
Leave of Absence request
Your child's education is very important to us. The legislation on school attendance for holidays in term time has changed from 19th August 2024 so that we are unable to grant leave of absence during term unless there are exceptional circumstances. An unauthorized holiday in term time can result in a Penalty Notice fine of £80 (per parent, per child) to be paid within 21 days, if no payment is received the Penalty Notice will increase to £160 to be paid within 28 days.
